I work with RHA Communications as a long-term contractor under the title of Medical Writer. I’m responsible for creating and managing LinkedIn content for several of the agency’s clients, helping to build their presence and engage their target audiences. I also write in-depth scientific articles for expert audiences, with pieces published in outlets such as MedNous and Drug Discovery World.

Scientific articles
One of my main responsibilities at RHA Communications is writing highly scientific articles on behalf of clients for specialist science publications. These articles aim to position clients as thought leaders, build scientific credibility, communicate the value of their research and help raise visibility within the scientific community and attract potential collaborators and investors.
Writing these articles involves interviewing scientists to gather detailed insights into their work, alongside in-depth desk research using peer-reviewed studies and other reliable scientific sources. It requires a deep understanding of complex scientific concepts, data, and terminology—and the ability to translate that information into compelling, accurate narratives that resonate with the target audience.
Below are two examples of articles I’ve written for MedNous.
One of the client accounts I work on is IsomAb, a biotechnology company developing treatments for ischaemic diseases. The aim of this article was to highlight their lead antibody candidate for peripheral arterial disease by telling the story of their unique discovery—a previously unrecognised protein that plays a key role in regulating blood vessel growth in ischaemic conditions.
To write this article, I was provided with several of IsomAb’s scientific studies demonstrating the success of their antibody. I analysed complex data and methodologies, then translated the key findings into clear, engaging content.
This article was written for PharmNovo, a pharmaceutical company developing a novel opioid-based treatment for chronic pain that doesn’t carry the same addiction risks and side effects associated with traditional opioids.
This is a thought leaderhsip piece written on behalf of one of PharmNovo’s lead scientists. It explores the significant unmet need in chronic pain management, the challenges involved in developing new pain therapies, and highlights how PharmNovo’s new drug offers a potential solution.
To develop the article, I interviewed the lead scientist and reviewed a range of scientific papers provided by the client. This involved understanding complex pharmacological concepts and these into a powerful story.
LinkedIn content
I manage LinkedIn accounts for several of the agency’s life science and health technology clients. This includes developing monthly strategic content plans focused on brand awareness, as well as creating ad hoc posts in response to company news, events, or other timely announcements.
The goal of these posts is to raise brand visibility, showcase thought leadership, and engage key audiences—including researchers, healthcare organisations, potential partners, and investors
Each post is carefully researched and tailored to the client’s voice. I also create branded visuals using Canva that align with each client’s visual identity to ensure consistency and help the content stand out in a busy LinkedIn feed.
Below are some examples of LinkedIn posts I’ve written for clients.
